1983 911SC 3.0 This is Euro motor w under
50k miles. Eng had piston ring failure. Porsche dealer replaced the
rings but did not tear down the motor to get all the metal pieces. This
was found 6 months later during our routine service. Eng runs with good cyl leakdown. Owner opted to trade up to a new, larger displacement
motor. This is a hi-compression 204hp Euro motor, & only needs a
teardown to remove the metal particles & fit new bearings.
